Contraindications — Soma+IQ™ Breathwork is intended as a personal growth experience and should not be considered a substitute for psychotherapy. It is not appropriate for pregnant women, persons with cardiovascular problems, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, persons with a history of seizures, stroke, major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness, or epilepsy. Please consult your primary care physician if you doubt whether you should participate. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician.

Please reschedule if you’re feeling unwell on the day of your session. Breathwork involves close, sometimes in‑person contact, and rescheduling protects us both.

Sessions may include gentle, supportive touch — for example a hand on the shoulder or upper back, or (with your specific agreement) the stomach — to support co‑regulation. My default is no touch; I only offer it after asking and hearing your “yes” in the moment, and you can decline or stop at any time.

This is a somatic, personal‑growth practice grounded in nervous‑system regulation, and it is not a substitute for psychotherapy or medical care.
