Disclaimer

The nature of this work. Love of Breath offers somatic breathwork for nervous‑system regulation and personal growth. It is not psychotherapy, counselling, or medical care, and is not a substitute for any of them. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

“Trauma‑informed” describes my approach — a way of working that prioritizes safety, choice, and gentle pacing — not a claim to treat trauma or provide trauma therapy.

Your participation is voluntary. You set the pace, and you can slow down, rest, or stop at any time.

Online sessions are offered to participants located in Canada.

Supportive touch is consent‑only. My default is no touch. I may offer gentle, supportive touch (such as a hand on the shoulder) to help you settle — only after asking, and only with your “yes” in the moment. You can decline or stop at any time.

If you’re unwell, please reschedule — breathwork is close, often in‑person work.

Please don’t take part if you are pregnant, or have cardiovascular problems (including angina, heart attack, or high blood pressure), glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, a history of seizures, stroke, or major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness, or epilepsy. If you have asthma, bring your inhaler and check with your physician first. When in doubt, consult your primary care physician before participating.

A signed waiver is completed before your first session, so we both start clear.
