About Me

The Path from Production to Presence

I did not always know how to breathe.

For decades, I lived inside systems—academia, leadership, production—measuring my worth by output and my safety by control. My body kept the score: it braced, it tired, it whispered enough.

Through somatic breathwork, deep nature immersion, and sustained nervous system repair, I began to recognize something foundational:

Breath is not a tool.
It is a regulatory and relational process—one that shapes how we perceive, connect, and participate in the world.

Today, I facilitate breath not as a technique, but as a return to coherence—a way of restoring rhythm, re-inhabiting the body, and re-entering relational life.

My Training & Background

My path integrates academic training, somatic practice, and lived experience:

  • Education: BSc (University of Alberta), MEd in Multidisciplinary Leadership (UNBC)
  • Somatic Certification: Soma+IQ™ Breathwork Facilitator — certified through an Arizona State University (ASU) ‑ accredited Soma+IQ program
  • Somatic Foundations: Rebirthing, trauma-informed practice
  • Theoretical Grounding: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Theory, eco-somatic studies

In parallel, I have developed an independent body of research exploring coherence, relational fields, and distributed cognition.

What I Offer: A Space for Regulation &Reconnection

Sessions at Love of Breath are not designed to fix or optimize.

They support:

  • Somatic awareness
  • Autonomic regulation
  • Relational presence

Approaches include:

  • Soma+IQ™ Breathwork
  • IFS-informed parts awareness
  • Sound-based regulation
  • Nature-based somatic imagery

This is not therapy.
It is structured, relational presence grounded in physiological regulation.
